Who are we? A group of parents, grandparents, guardians and interested people from the village who work together to raise money for the benifit of the children. What do we do? Organise social and fundraising events for adults and children each term, e.g. Christmas Family Evening, Secret Shop, Fun Day, Quiz nights and the 'Bags 2 School' collection. These events are well attended and a good time is had by all! Why get involved? The Friends of the school is a registered charity and would not be able to function without the help of dedicated committee members who run and support the events. Everyone with an interest in the school can get involved and can give as much or as little of their time as they wish. It is also a great way to meet other people and feel more involved with the school. How do you become involved? If you would like to become a Friend, help with the events, or would just like further information, please contact a committee member or the school office. We are always pleased to receive new ideas and suggestions for fund raising, so please let us know. New Members Needed The Friends of the School urgently need new members. If you can spare any time to help in the Fundraising effort you will be very welcome! You can do as much or as little as you like. What has the money been spent on? The money raised by the Friends of the School has been spent on:
